This means its lowest temperatures range from <strong>0 F to 5 F<\/strong>.<\/li> <\/ul>    <ul class=\"wp-block-list\"> <li><strong>Lexington:<\/strong> This city is located in <strong>zone 7a<\/strong>. Other parts of Fayette County, mostly in the north, near Kentucky Horse Park, are in <strong>zone 6b<\/strong>.<\/li> <\/ul>    <ul class=\"wp-block-list\"> <li><strong>Northern Kentucky: <\/strong>As we\u2019ve seen, this region is in<strong> zone 6b<\/strong>. That includes important cities like Covington, Florence, Independence, and Newport.&nbsp;<\/li> <\/ul>    <p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Tip: <\/strong>Most of the counties situated <strong>north of I-64<\/strong> are entirely in <strong>zone 6b<\/strong>, with a few exceptions that have small areas in zone 7a.
