Best time to mow

Avoid mowing midday when the weather in Texas is at its hottest. Mowing in the mid-morning or late afternoon when it's cooler is better for you and your lawn. Warm-season grasses must be mowed more frequently in summer, their peak growing season. Cool-season grasses will need more frequent mowing in spring and fall.

Watering schedule
