Damron Park
If the kids just need to blow off some steam, take them to the playground at 5400 Myra Avenue. You'll need to walk there or park down the street.
Darrell Essex Park
You can picnic and play at 5131 Ball Rd where you'll find BBQ grills, water fountains, picnic facilities, and a playground. You'll also need to walk to this park or park down the street from it.
Eucalyptus Park
Another neighborhood park that requires you to park down the street or walk to it is Eucalyptus Park at 5900 Orangewood Street. It carries on the BBQ theme, with grills for cooking and picnic facilities. The park also has a playground and unlighted basketball court.
Evergreen Park
You can park on-site at Evergreen Park and enjoy its playground and unlighted basketball court. This park at 9300 Moody St. also has picnic facilities and BBQ grills. You can reserve the picnic sites. There are restrooms at the park.
Hettinga Manzanita Park
You'll need to park down the street or walk to Hettinga Manzanita Park at 6500 Orangewood Avenue to enjoy its unlighted basketball court and playground. This neighborhood park also offers BBQ grills, water fountains, and picnic facilities.
Laurel Park
The neighborhood park at 5902 Cathy Avenue, Laurel Park, provides a communal green space. It's great for a walk or a run or game of frisbee.

Maple Grove Park South
The park's "twin" at 6220 Orangewood Ave., Maple Grove Park South, also provides an unlighted full basketball court and playground, plus BBQ pits, picnic facilities, and drinking fountains.
Nature Park
Cypress, CA's Nature Park at 4201 Ball Rd offers a vast spot of land to explore. Its nature facility provides trails for hiking, walking, and running. There are also on-site restrooms.
Oak Knoll Park
You'll find one of the city's more extensive sports facilities at Oak Knoll Park, located at 9600 Graham St. You can play baseball on its full field, basketball on its unlighted full court, play softball on its full field, play volleyball on its unlighted court and workout on its exercise course. Peppertree Park at 11666 Luau Lane also provides picnic facilities, BBQ grills, and drinking fountains. You can play basketball on the unlighted full court, or kids can enjoy the playground. You'll need to walk to this park or park down the street.
Pinewood Park
The parking situation is similar at Pinewood Park, located at 9675 Juanita Street. You'll also find picnic facilities, BBQ grills and drinking fountains at Pinewood, along with an unlighted full basketball court and a playground.
Rosen Acacia Park
Enjoy a picnic at Rosen Acacia Park 5681 Newman St. using its BBQ grills and picnic facilities. Kids can enjoy the playground. There are drinking fountains available, too.
Vessels Park
Vessels Park at 5900 Cathy Avenue gives people in its neighborhood a place to take the children to play. This straightforward park has a playground. You'll need to walk to this park or park down the street.
Veterans Park
The athletic offerings are diverse at Veterans Park, located at 4554 Avenida Granada.
