Lawn Love was founded in 2014 in San Diego by Jeremy Yamaguchi, who had a simple frustration: Finding someone reliable to mow his lawn was harder than it should be.
With backing from Y Combinator, Barbara Corcoran of “Shark Tank,” quarterback Joe Montana, and others, Lawn Love grew into a nationwide platform serving hundreds of markets across the U.S.
In 2021, Lawn Love was acquired by LawnStarter – creating the nation's largest digital marketplace for outdoor services. The merger has accelerated the growth of both companies and expands the network of pros available to Lawn Love customers.
