Have you ever rescued a lawn from certain death? How did you do it?
Yes. Yard had a major grub infestation. I was able to exterminate the grub population and we tilled the ruined part of the yard and we laid fresh sod on the yard.

How did you get into lawn care?
Online.

Advice for anyone interested in starting their own lawn care business?
Must have a passion for it, first and foremost.

What's your favorite on-the-job snack?
Gatorade.

What do you love most about your job?
Being able to meet people from all walks of life. The ability to help another person who cant do the up-keep of their own lawn for whatever reason is awesome. It makes me happy.

What's your favorite grass variety?
Saint Augustine......it crowds out the weeds and if cut right it makes a wonderful yard for kids to run through barefoot.

What's your favorite mower brand?
The kind that cut evenly and dont get clogged to easily. There are no specific models or brands that do better than others. It's all about keeping up with proper maintenance or your mower that makes the machine special.

Have you ever rescued a lawn from certain death? How did you do it?
Watering and proper cut height is a must. It will usually bounce back quickly. Lawns are resilient.

What's your biggest lawn care pet peeve?
Dog poo....YUCK!! Nothing worse than cutting a yard and finding land mines under the overgrown grass. The equipment smells horrible for weeks after... No matter how much you wash it off. Yuck yuck yuck...

Where did you grow up?
San Antonio, then in 07 I went to Tarpley Texas to be a ranch foreman for 6 years. Then came back to San Antonio In 2013

How do you beat the heat when working outside?
Stay hydrated and one thing I dislike but sometimes it has to be done is take a break during the yard to cool down and get fluids.

My Father and uncle both owned landscaping companies. My uncle is the one who hired me professionally tho ?
