I became a mother in November 2003, and by spring 2004 I knew I needed to be my own boss and work at my own discretion so I could spend more time at home and be the hands-on, present mother I truly wanted to be. I first started to cut grass and help out in the garden with my grandpa when I was just 6 years old and mowed my first lawn. From that day on, I insisted on cutting our family's grass weekly and developed a real love for gardening, with a particular passion for flowers. I went to my dad and asked him for a small loan to get the equipment I needed to get started and invest in my dream. My father and grandfather both invested $3500 each, and my dad built me a workshop. I named the business SSG Lawn & Landscape Design, after my son Sebastian Solon Gallai. I had my first customer and completed her project on May 23, 2004, and I cut her grass up until she moved.

I did commercial landscaping for 20+ years. I decided I want to work for myself and enjoy making my own schedule. I enjoy mowing and landscaping and strive to have satisfied customers and jobs completed on time. I will treat your lawn like it was my own.
