Lawn care service in Baltimore

Baltimore is known as the City of Neighborhoods because it has hundreds of districts. It is also the largest independent city in the country and one of the oldest. Founded in 1752, Baltimore is ripe with history and has many famous native sons and daughters. The home of Edgar Allan Poe is located here and the last sail-only warship, the USS Constellation, is now a museum and one of the most frequently visited spots in the city.

If you want to visit all of Baltimore's best spots, then you should forget about removing leaves from your lawn this weekend. Hire the guys at Lawn Love to do that for you so you can have some free time on your hands.

Dead leaves lying on the ground are a pretty common sight in Baltimore and every other city in America during the fall. They get shed by trees during this time of the year and they do so at a pretty rapid rate. The trees on your property will shed their leaves as well and your yard will soon be covered by them. This is not a good thing because this means your lawn will become suffocated, which can prevent photosynthesis from taking place.

Lawn Love can clean up all of those pesky leaves for you and make your yard leaf-free once again. Our guys are hardworking and will remove most of the leaves from your lawn. To book our services, you can call now at 410-469-7204. You can also see our rates by getting a free online quote.

Baltimore leaf removal

Baltimore, Maryland is a vast city. It has been the sight of tragedy and also of progress. It was home to the first telegraph line in the entire world. It is also the largest independent city in America. It has been called the greatest city in America. What is it that has made this city so great?

Baltimore has had a complicated, turbulent history. Its history as an American establishment began before the revolution. It was an early European colony that battled against disease and native Americans to become a shipping port. It officially started as the Port of Baltimore. The Town of Baltimore was not established until 1729. Almost from the start, sugar plantations and slavery were part of the economic structure of the city.

It was in Baltimore that the first post office of what would eventually become the United States of America was established. During the first part of the Revolutionary War, the city acted very much like the capital of the colonies, and it was the seat of the Second Continental Congress when the actual capital in Philadelphia was in danger of attack. In the later 1790s, the city was finally incorporated and became the City of Baltimore. The first US Navy Ship was launched from Baltimore.

During the War of 1812, which lasted much longer than just that one year, Baltimore also played a part. It was here that the Battle of Baltimore moved the writing of 'The Star-Spangled Banner. From this time on, the city grew nonstop. New industries were introduced that brought greater prosperity, and the population reached 60,000 in 1820. However, new hard times were coming. In 1835, Baltimore suffered a terrible riot due to the failure of the Maryland Bank. The rioting lasted for days, and the police were unable to quell the destruction caused by violent mobs. Property and businesses were destroyed, and it took some time for the city to recover.

The position of Baltimore was somewhat unique in the Civil War. Maryland remained in the Union, kept in only by force of arms. Much of the population was pro-southern, and in fact, the first blood drawn in the Civil War was in Baltimore. Union soldiers fired on an angry group of citizens in a tragic moment in the history of the city. However, because it was not part of the Confederacy, it did not experience the same economic failure as other areas in the south. Unfortunately, this didn't make much of a difference after all for Baltimore.

In the 1870s, Baltimore underwent a depression that involved strikes and riots. Then, in 1904, the Great Baltimore Fire resulted in another substantial setback, but it also resulted in improved equipment for firefighters all over America.

Baltimore began to recover rapidly, and when World War I came, it brought various aspects of war industry to the city. World War II was followed by modernization in Baltimore.

The Civil Rights period was extremely tumultuous and difficult. When Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated, there was a long period of rioting. It took the police and Maryland National Guard to quell the riots.

Despite the troubled times in Baltimore, it continued to grow and prosper. Today is a beautiful, well-loved city. It may very well be worthy of the name 'The Greatest City in America', Baltimore has been renovated in many different ways, and one of the best is using vacant areas to add greenery. While other urban areas dedicated to trees are growing smaller, the Baltimore tree canopy is growing larger. This has contributed significantly to the appeal of the city. If you live in Baltimore, you too can plant trees to contribute.

Many beautiful oaks are native to Maryland. One is the massive scarlet oak. It is a deciduous tree rather than an evergreen. Its leaves are green much of the year, and then in the fall, the glossy scarlet foliage gives it its name. These magnificent trees can be anywhere from 60 to 100 feet in height. The acorns are generally not considered fit for human consumption because they are very bitter. The tree's use is primarily ornamental.

There are various pines as well, one of which is the eastern white pine. It is an evergreen with the customary needles and cones. It tends to grow fairly quickly, attaining up to an extra two feet in height each year. It does best with good moisture. It can grow anywhere from 50 feet to 80.

Maples are also well known to Baltimore. One of the most fascinating and beautiful is the red maple. This amazing tree has leaves that are green on top and light green or nearly white on the bottom. In autumn and early spring, their leaves are red or occasionally orange or yellow. The twigs also are red. Red maple trees can be 100 feet tall when mature. It does best in slightly acidic soils.

Tulip Tree, also known as tulip poplar or yellow poplar, is another beautiful option for tree planting. It can reach up to almost 200 feet in the wild, and it has lovely yellow flowers that resemble common tulips. Its typical height may be more like 60 to 100 feet. It has a strong trunk and grows quickly. It is a deciduous tree, so it will drop its leaves in fall.

Because most of these trees are deciduous, that means a heavy fall workload for anyone who has the job of clearing away the leaves. If that is the case for you, Lawn Love can offer you professional leaf removal services. We make hiring leaf removal services easier and faster by taking the process of getting a free quote to the Internet or phone. You can go online or call us and schedule your leaf removal services today to aid in Baltimore's efforts to go green.
