Where did you grow up?
I was born in Idaho, so there's snow there right now. So that's why we like Seattle, because it's a lot warmer and you can work all year. It was a very small town where everybody knows everybody.

Study your area and know the successful lawn guys in the area to get an idea of how they do it. If you can find some good contacts with people that can teach you, like suppliers and different people at nurseries, that would be great!

I took some schooling, so I did horticulture and some landscape design, and things like that. I like being outside nature.

Don't be afraid to go the extra mile and just do a good job. Even sometimes if you think people won't be very nice, you can still, it'll return to you.
