Where did you grow up?
I'm from West Palm Beach, Florida. It is considered the sunshine state. Used to the heat, but it's also a very well maintained area. You have beautiful landscapes everywhere.

Have you ever rescued a lawn from certain death? How did you do it?
We do that all the time. They call us when their lawns are at their worst, and we go in and we test the soil and we bring it back.

What successes have you achieved from working in this industry?
It's a challenging industry. You have to learn to adapt. Part of that required me to go to school. So not only am I knowledgeable in lawn care, but I also went to business school. Understanding the business of lawn care, landscaping, understanding grass, and times of the year, there's more to lawn care than just the grass.

What made you want to start a lawn care service?
Well, I've always liked grass. I grew up in Florida, so grass grows year round, and I cut grass as a kid. That was my thing, that's how I made extra money. And over the years, it just grew into a business. I started up professional lawn care about five years ago.

What do you love most about being a lawn care provider?
I love instant satisfaction. In a lot of industries, you work all the time and then you have to wait years in order to see that final result. As a lawn care professional, work a full day, and then at the end of the day, in most of our projects we can see a beautiful lawn right then and there.

What makes you a great lawn care provider?
Care. Most of my clients have been with us for years, and I've actually nourished their specific dirt for so long and I understand their yard -- I know the hills, I know the terrain. So it's just that care, the time I take to go through and really learn. I put in that extra effort.

What keeps you going every single day?
That success. As I told you, at the end of the, I get that satisfaction.

Have you won any awards or been mentioned somewhere online that you'd like to share?
No, this will actually be my first official landscaping recognition. Now, I have military awards and recognition. But I am proud to say that Lawn Love is my first landscaping recognition. I love to represent it proudly, I’m very honored and thankful to have this.

Favorite cool treat?
We love popsicles. You have to take a moment to enjoy your downtime, and what better way to do that than going back to your car and having a popsicle?

My 2 sons and I started this business as a way to get outside and bond together. They're going to high school, and it's a great way for them to learn hard work ethics while playing sports. We are dedicated to helping the community keep their lawns looking precise!
