I'm 42 and I've been landscaping for over 20 years. It's something I really enjoy doing—even on my days off, you'll find me out in my yard always doing something. I'm really particular about my work; it has to be done right. Every line is straight, every edge is clean cut, no leaves laying around, and nice green grass. I like my lawn around an inch in height. I am a one-man crew, and I feel that I can pay more attention to the details when it's just me. When it's just me, I know things will be done the right way. I know a truck is preferred, but at the moment I don't have one. Thankfully, my mower folds up and can fit in my trunk. What's important is that I can still perform my duties the same as if I had a truck. As long as the job gets done, I feel that's what matters. At least I'm making an effort—I still have to provide for my family.
