So I took what savings I had, bought some equipment, and started to talk with people I had done work for with the company I left, with the goal of more personalized service at a fair price and a promise not to gouge people on labor or materials. I also wanted to do some charity work as a way to give back to the community. That was over 10 years ago. Today, I'm still going strong, keeping overhead low and giving customers what they want at a fair price with quality work and materials.
