Hello, my name is Cody and I started landscaping when I was about 12 years old because my dad was a builder and developer, so he had me running a skid steer by the age of 7 and installing sprinkler systems, outdoor lighting, and actually grading with that Bobcat by the age of 10. In 2005, I started a lawn maintenance company called Eastside Landscaping, and by 2012 when I sold it to pursue a career as a fireman for Dekalb County, I had over 120 weekly residential lawn maintenance accounts and about 12 commercial accounts, including 2 of Tyler Perry's studios and multiple HOAs. After about 3 years as a fireman and paramedic, I decided to open up Prograde Landscaping because as a fireman you only work about 9 days a month. I soon figured out that landscaping was paying me three times what risking my life was paying. So in 2016, I resigned as a fireman and started Prograde Landscaping full time. I stuck with sprinkler system repair and installation, low voltage outdoor lighting, and pergola and pavilion construction.
